I’ve read so many comments on here about how you can’t forgive the white man? Well here’s the truth, you that hate the white man for slavery should actually hate your own ancestors! Why? Because your ancestors in western parts of Africa, in different villages were at war with each other, and your ancestors traded their own people who were slaves in their villages for firearms to fight other villages! Plus certain villagers were helping capturing other people from different villages to be slaves! The first people that started taking slaves were the Spanish, and the Portuguese! There were more African slaves taken to South America than coming to North America… Not every white man owned slaves in the south, only the rich people in the south who had plantations owned slaves!!! William Ellison Jr. Who was black, owned 171 slaves before the Civil War in South Carolina on his plantation! But so many of you don’t want to hear the truth, or facts! Blame the white man for slavery when it was your very own ancestors who had their own people as slaves! My Irish ancestors were slaves in parts of Northern western Africa… Plus whenever the Irish stepped foot onto the Boston Harbor, they were treated like shit, but they did go help fight against slavery!
