Shortly after an armed suspect was shot at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, President Donald Trump posted surveillance video of the gunman running inside the hotel before shots were fired at hime.
Trump was evacuated from the event and attendees dropped to the floor after those gunshots were heard inside the Washington Hilton hotel. At a White House press conference later that same night, Trump labeled the shooting suspect “sick.” Law enforcement agents identified the suspect as 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen, of Torrance, California,

I have seen comments that the shotgun was fired and hit a policeman in his bullet proof vest. Just to be clear most shotgun cartridges are filled with dozens of small pellets – so there would not be one bullet mark bot dozens, also the sound of a shotgun being fired inside a building would be deafening there would be no mistaking it for a pistol, a 45 pistol bullet holds aprox 4.0 grains of powder a shotgun cartridge holds aprox 20 grains, there would be no mistaking the sound of the shotgun.
