President Donald Trump’s national security team failed to fully account for the potential consequences of what some officials have described as a worst-case scenario now facing the administration, the sources said.

Fun Fact: in the Iran Iraq War, Iraq was sustaining its war effort with petrodollars earned from its tankers transiting the Persian Gulf. Iran mined the Strait of Hormuz and attacked tankers throughout the gulf.
President Reagan wisely had his people put together a plan for clearing the mines and escorting tankers, implemented the plan, and allowed Iraq to continue to fund its war effort against Iran. In fact, the resumed shipping guaranteed that Iran could not win the war, so the war ended soon after, thanks to President Reagan.

USA do not have the Capacity to clear the MINDS on the Strait of Hormuz the OLD Special Navi Equipment WHERE Dismantled and There were not REPLACEMENTS afterwards. Only some European NATO Members that have still Equipment for This Purpose. 😮
