I love it. Everything is fresh every day. The burgers come fresh straight from a freezer box. I shop at the same place, so I know exactly where they get them. LMAO.
OMG, Landmark? Really? Nothing against them. They’re about the only Greek diner left in Charlotte, but let’s be honest, the food is pretty meh. Then again, it’s a Greek restaurant. I’ve never had the turkey dish, so I can’t comment on that.
NoDa used to be an art district until they gentrified it by tearing down all the buildings that had the galleries and studios, although they’re trying to bring some of that character back. The taco spot is legit, I’ll give him that one. Mert’s is decent too. It’s not my favorite, but that’s just personal preference. I prefer Nana’s.
Heist is absolutely legit. That’s a place I’d recommend to just about anyone.
As for the pizza place, I’m staying out of that one. It’s not where I’d go for pizza.
Pinky’s? They’ve had fish tacos for well over a decade. Also decent place to eat.
Sorry, but I have a hard time trusting his recommendations after seeing some of his picks in Memphis. LOL.
The first two spots are an easy pass for me. 100%
What about Raleigh and area?
Landmark is still the place to go!
