Personally, I would include The Dæmons and The Sea Devils, but perhaps this is nostalgia from when I watched them as they were originally broadcast when I was a child. Although how could you omit a story with the line “chap with the wings: five rounds rapid”? These two stories really stuck in my mind.
The Time Warrior is a good romp, too, and the first appearance of Sarah Jane Smith, so very significant.
I like the Tomb of the Cybermen, probably best of all the Cybermen stories.
I also have a soft spot for Spearhead from Space and the Green Death. I still remember that watching the Green Death was when I first learnt the word “serendipity”.
I remember watching “Fury from The Deep” when originally broadcast and loving it!
