The Doctor and Peri are shocked when the image of a girl suddenly flies through the TARDIS console room. They discover a mysterious time tunnel and trace its origin to the planet Karfel. There, they uncover the tyranny of the Borad, a cruel tyrant who casts his enemies into the time tunnel. The Doctor is forced by the Borad to rescue Vena, a girl who has fallen into the tunnel with a vital amulet. To his surprise, the tunnel’s far end leads to 19th-century Scotland!

Positively the worst renditioner of the role of the classic period. In fact, the “classic” period ends for me with Pertwee. Of the new generation Davison was best
Astonishingly, incredibly, it’s amazing how much I disliked Colin Baker and how much I was amused by Kelsey Grammer on Frasier, his own show more than Cheers (Grammer, Cheers and Frasier are all American programs for those who may not know).
My own English cousin watched Frasier and thought Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde-Pierce were actually English and must have just had an American parent, as I had.
I guess Jane Leeves as Daphne being authentically English completed the illusion, as well as John Mahoney who played their father Martin Crane was born in England, but Colin Baker is all but exactly the same as Kelsey Grammer, astonishingly similar, but somebody knew how to just carry Grammer a bit further, or maybe it was Grammer’s voice above all else (and yes, Grammer did the voice of Sideshow Bob on the Simpsons as well, and even there he made the character soar).
Colin is soooo good in this.
Underappreciated? This doctor sucks. perry sucks. The worst doctor. The worst ‘companion’.
At least this idiot is harmless. Unlike trump and his conspirators.
Props to Colin Baker for giving his all to a show in which the management of the BBC was doing all they could to destroy. Timelash reminds me a lot of a high school production of the Wizard of OZ. No matter how sincere the performances the staging undoes the work of the actors.
I love that his stories have him doing the “click below” at the end. Colin is wonderful.

It’s great to see the four part versions of these Season 22 stories … this is how I first saw them as a kid, so there’s a lot of nostalgia! Will you be adding Attack of the Cybermen, Mark of the Rani and The Two Doctors? 🙏🏻
