The Doctor investigates the disappearance of a Concorde in mid-flight and he becomes convinced that it has been transported back in time. Following it back into the Pleistocene era, he finds that the Master is behind a plot to control the power of an ancient race all but destroyed by a galactic war.

    He should explain that going back and saving Adric would create a temporal paradox or whatever and probably destroy the Earth or something like that. That’s the real reason he can’t go, he made himself part of a fixed event in space and time (aside from the fact of the paradox if he were saved). This is 1 of the few things that the new show sometimes does better in explaining. Except for the fact that such rule is still broken at least now and then.

    Lethbridge Stewart was a Coronel then became a Brigadier. Only in novelizations did he attain higher rankings

    Remember getting this on VHS at the Anchorage library because of the the concord and my mom had checked out a few Dr Who VHS before
