If you thought galactic clusters were the largest structures in the universe you’d be wrong because, on a larger scale, even these clusters clump together in huge cosmic filaments.
These filaments are the largest structures in the universe, stretching hundreds of millions of light-years in length and about 20 million light-years in thickness.

    Its scary to think of.
    We can colonize a planet, in the future if we can travel at C, maybe we can colonize a galaxy over a million millenia, but a string of galaxies… where even with ftl, the immensity.

    They say it’s 10 billion light years across, but the Milky Way galaxy is only 100,000 light years I don’t understand how humans could measure 10 billion light years across when you could not even see the end of it with our eyes
