    She’s adorable, but I can’t help worrying she’s the result of munchkin breeding. Those cats may look cute, but they often come with so many painful health issues.

    I rescued three munchkin cats over the years, and while I loved them deeply, it was heartbreaking to watch what they went through. One didn’t even make it to three because of lordosis. People need to understand these breeding choices can cause scoliosis, bone issues, rib deformities, breathing problems, and chronic pain. Breeding for “cute” when you know it can cause suffering is just irresponsible.
