When alien seed pods are unearthed in the Arctic, the Doctor and Sarah Jane race to contain the threat. But one pod has already hatched, unleashing a monstrous Krynoid that infects a scientist and begins a deadly rampage. As chaos spreads, the second pod falls into the hands of wealthy botanist Harrison Chase, whose obsession with plant life leads him to nurture the creature… unleashing a growing horror that could consume all of Earth.
