My first Rock Concert Experience: I just turned 15 and it was the Rolling Stones December 13th, 1981, ASU stadium inTempe Arizona ,over 76,000 people not including 15,000 outside. Most of “Let’s Spend The Night Together” was filmed their. My neighbor and friend camped out overnight in front of Sears with hundreds of others ready to see the Stones. Crazy! He purchased 10 tickets for 6 of us at $20 a piece. I’ll get back to that. Instead of us all riding together, two of them left the night before. We drove up from Tucson and arrived pretty early and found our missing two buddies sleeping under a tree near the stadium.They got a flat along the way and little cash on them, he traded his wedding ring for a new tire so they could make it to the concert. (He was divorced a year later) due to some drinking issues. Our next move was to get rid of the remaining 4 tickets. We got exited when we saw all the people headed toward us, time to make some money off the tickets. Turned out, thousands of others came up with the same idea. Nearing concert time. We could have bought better seats for $5, so we gave away our tickets. I couldn’t get enough, 15 and all the girls decked out in leather and spandex. I would say there were hundreds of people passed out by showtime, as we are going through the front gate, there was a huge stack of bags, cameras alcohol bottles. Even though the Stones came on late, it was a great memory brought on by this video this morning while I was watching YT. Please post about your Rolling Stones Experience!!!
