IndyCar has been the home to many past F1 drivers, but they never seem to go the other way. There are things in place that make it more difficult, but not impossible, but is it really a necessity to always look to F1, or should IndyCar just keep being IndyCar?

As a life long motorsport fan IndyCar has always been my favorite series and I hate the competition between the series because they are completely different

I really want to see Esteban Ocon make the jump. I feel he could be competitive over here and he is still relatively young as a driver

Well the obvious reason is indycar used to be a more truly global series in the late 80’s early 90’s with races in Australia, Japan, Mexico, Brazil etc… but even then prime Mansel was able to switch and win the championship!

Politics and basically tyrant rule with FIA in F1 controlling everything.
    No start last place winners.
Fia iron fist on drivers trying to pass and press chats. Penalty and fines and license points revoked.
Politics almost ruined 2025 F1 season. They made it closer than it was.
Indycar needs the press and popularity of the mid 90s back.
    Great story no doubt
