AI is literally letting people make thier dreams come true. I successfully learned how to alluminize a mirror and make a video game in a weekend.😂
You know who is not worried, 20,000,000 illegals getting everything free.
Good news. That Will make new field employee since you kicked out those who were doin that labor. Get on your knee and pick my strawberry!
So riddle me this, when the majority of the people lose their jobs, who is gong to buy these companies goods and services?
Sounds good on paper for the companies to replace humans with AI, (No overhead paying humans) BUT WAIT, what good will that do
if you have no customers because no one has a job and has no money to buy your Goods and services?
it’s catch 22 and it’s going bring these companies to RUIN..
I have 10 years in my field and graduated a 4 year course .. now ?
it is somewhat worthless cause eventually AI will replace my position in 1 to 5 years
Dear Harry, The story isn’t that AI is taking jobs, it’s about ELIMINATING CONSUMERS. AI not only doesn’t buy homes it doesn’t buy food, clothing, cars, gas & electricity, healthcare or insurance, or even pay taxes, It doesn’t buy anything. If you want to see into the future, ask AI to write a story in the style of Charles Dickens. The worst case scenarios would be a 70% unemployment banana republic or an anarchy revolution. In the past more advanced products replaced less efficient products. AI replaces people (Consumers). Since Consumers are 70 % of the economy you can do the math from there.
I get the concern, but I think saying AI is eliminating consumers is a bit too absolute. We’ve seen big tech shifts before; jobs changed, some disappeared, but spending power didn’t vanish. It just moved around in ways people didn’t expect.
But this one feels faster. It’s not just replacing factory work or admin tasks, it’s touching white collar stuff too. That middle layer of earners is what holds a lot of everyday spending together.
One thing that changed my thinking came from working through my finances with an advisor. The focus wasn’t on AI taking jobs, but on what happens when income becomes less predictable overall. We didn’t try to predict the future, we just built more flexibility into how money flows: some stability, some growth, and some protection in case things shift quickly. It made me realize it’s less about fear of AI and more about not being overly exposed to one source of income.
Do you mind sharing the name of the advisor you mentioned?
She’s Anna Louise Lay by name.
Soy boy news channel
Well well you have been warned back in 2022. Nobody listened “AI is a bubble bro” “AI is so stupid, it won’t replace humans bro”. Eat this cockroaches. You got what you deserved. Man i’m so glad i did not listened to “go to the college bro” advice. Now i’m debt free unlike some of y’all. And this is just the beginning, just wait few more years, we all be homeless (but atleast i’m debt free then)
its not just a concern. its already happening and has been happening for years.
ITS called LIFE
That is exactly what this big push for data centers is for. Once it’s complete, there will be HUGE pemanent layoffs.
SO WELL SAID & SO WELL DONE HARRY ENTEN🌟♾👍
It is worse. 😱🤯👀 For a brief period of time before surpassing us, AI will collaborate directly with the brain, like the AI #Louise# in the *Lunar Pit* novel. It will be as if you had your smartphone and a bunch of language models in your head. Scary and amazing at the same time.
Ask your map app for directions to the car wash across the street. Then tell me you think “AI” is taking all our jobs. 😂
Why do yall always classify us as Dems and GOP? Not everyone participate in that dumb shxt.
