On a remote island of glass surrounded by a sea of acid, there is a machine that can remove evil from the minds of an entire population – the Conscience of Marinus. Fearful of its immense power falling into the wrong hands, its sole guardian has scattered the machine’s operating keys across the planet. The TARDIS crew arrive to find the island under attack by the evil Voord. Marinus’ last line of defence – and its only hope – is the Conscience machine. The Doctor and his companions must undertake a deadly quest to recover the Keys of Marinus…

Who 101 Pt 1: Premiered on WTTW-TV 11 Chicago ” Home of the TARDIS” on Sunday June 1- Sunday June 8,1986 in two parts. 😊
This is a pretty fun one. The location hopping makes it feel a bit disjointed, but it also makes it feel fresh throughout. I also think the trial arc in the last two episodes really shows off the most flattering aspects of the First Doctor.
Odd how they ignore whomever in that courtroom murdered Aydan, and just continued prosecuting Chesterton, lol
I remeber reading this book thinking I would never see any of Hartnells or Troughton’s episodes. So glad I got this and a lot more.
