From the beginning O was Team Charles, even though I can also understand fans of Team Josh. But for me was Team Charles more realistic, more grown up. But at the end it felt like that always wanted the one which she hadn’t at that moment. And slowly it crept on me that maybe excitement, hot sex with Josh (or other men) are more important for her than a stable relationship with Charles. Anyway….I could have lived with the end if not the whole season 6 and especially season 7 was building up Charles & Liza —only to end it all 10 minutes after the big declaration of love at the airport. That’s why Lizas sudden decision for Josh at the end (or her decision for “freedom”) felt completely unexpected and unrealistic in this contect. Absolutely not well done! A good build-up would have been if Josh had taken up just as much space in season 7 and not everything had focused solely on the reunion with Charles.

It’s weird how the writers made Charles’ character go from “I want to be with you in any way, married or not.. I’m paraphrasing… to He doesn’t trust her???😮
Especially going thru everything thing he did to be with her.
They should have ended up with each other, but I get it.. then Josh would be left out and there are a lot of Josh fans out there who wouldhave been upset… so they played it safe by not having Liza end up with anyone.

All I hear is that, there were probably two more seasons and an ending that we deserve. What was the reason to this haphazard ending to a beautiful relationship we saw building only to deny us what was meant to be? Darren Star, we need and deserve answers.
