Part I explores what led to the split. CART had success but also a lot of criticism from both team owners and fans. CART controlled the IndyCar season, but not the Indy 500. With a dismissive attitude toward Indianapolis track president Tony George, division in IndyCar formed over several years. It finally broke apart in 1994.

Reality has always been the problem is Roger Penske. Pinsky wanted to control IndyCar and has never been qualified to do it It’s always been about his greed not the good of the series. The corrective approach from the beginning was for the car owners to put the good of the sport over themselves And it applies to NASCAR The good of the sport is more important than the selfishness of car owners
Na minha opinião, a CART era a verdadeira IndyCar (exceto a IRL).
CART always felt like the poor mans F1 its like they wanted IndyCar to be the new F1 when it was never going to be.
