Spending big doesn’t mean anything if you’re not building a good team and that’s true in every sport, even solo sports. I have a strong feeling they’ve put little thought into team chemistry and actual effectiveness with this recruitment push. They’re shiny object shopping and it’s a great way to screw up your team. They should win more games than they have the last couple of years but I’d recommend keeping their heads level with expectations until the season’s over.
It’s a pity we have to pay, in one way or another, just to listen to disgruntled haters just giving us crab. Is it your uncle’s money because obviously it cannot be yours.

Not sure all these changes jell for Spurs right away. If they pull things together, they can be competitive with the talent on paper. There’s nowhere to go but up after the last two seasons. But they have shown a penchant for getting players not performing the past few seasons.
