The Doctor lands on Kembel searching for medicine to save Steven, unaware that Space Agent Bret Vyon is also trapped there after his partner is killed by the Daleks. While the Doctor investigates a newly arrived spaceship, he discovers that Mavic Chen has secretly joined forces with the Daleks in a plan to destroy the universe!
The original 1965 master recording of all but 5 episodes of this serial were lost soon after the programme’s original transmission. This episode was returned to the BBC Archive in 2026.

I’m just as happy to see more episodes of This Missing Adventure recovered. I just wish that they would recreate the rest of the missing episode either by animation using the surviving soundtracks recorded by loyal fans or remake the episodes using real actors including David Bradley who does an excellent job as the William Hartnell Doctor, use the VidFIRE Process on the existing episodes, and release the entire thing on streaming and DVD and Blu-Ray.
