The New York Times’ Jonathan Swan, co-author of “REGIME CHANGE,” tells Morning Joe that President Donald Trump is eager to quickly prosecute his political enemies. Swan reveals that was the “key reason” why Trump soured on former attorney general Pam Bondi. This week, acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, who faced backlash over his handling of the Epstein files, will face the Senate Judiciary Committee for a confirmation hearing to take over the role full time.

    Trump can’t stand people who are more educated, have more intelligence and have more experience than he does. He really had to reach way down to find the ones he feels comfortable with.
