As a little kid, living in a small border town in Quebec in the 1970s and 80s, “having cable” meant we could get the closest ABC, NBC, CBS and PBS affiliates over in Vermont, New York and Maine. We used to watch “That’s Incredible” on ABC and “Real People” on NBC religiously. I loved those shows.
