My neighbor’s fence was destroyed by a girl driving a gasoline powered Ford SUV. She lost control and pressed the accelerator pedal to the floor. Her car ended up in the pool. Luckily, no one was in the backyard and she got minor injury while falling into the pool with her car. This type of misapplication is a common incidents in many insurance company’s records.

For all the stup** people that think this was Teslas fault the data from the car had to be pulled for legal reasons and the driver had physically pressed the accelerator to 100% and held it there even after impact. This overrides AP just like braking does.

UPDATE: Driver charged with MANSLAUGHTER because he was fully at the controls. The car was NOT driving.
