One break that i have been working on is the cut break, you hit the one as full as possible and with a tip low. When you do it right the one should go into the oppiste side pocket and the cue ball should draw to the side rail and come back out to the middle of the table.
Aim lower and lower on the cue ball and visualize the cue tip landing on the cloth until you stop putting all that follow on the cue ball. The topspin you are putting on the cue ball is taking away a ton of power on your break.
