Jahara Malik is facing sentencing for fatally stabbing her boyfriend, Yahkeim Lollar, after the two got into an argument on December 20, 2024. During sentencing, a detective reviewed the investigation, during which the court heard a 911 call and Malik’s interview with law enforcement. People in the courtroom were emotional during his testimony. The detective revealed that Malik brought the knife for protection and that she had a history of violence.
