Air Emergency: Canadian wildfire smoke engulfs US cities 0 (0)

Massive wildfires in Canada are sending plumes of smoke all the way down to the New York City region. Smoke has settled across parts of the Upper Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, triggering Air Quality Alerts for more than 124 million people. According to the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre, 69 fires are burning out of control in Ontario, mostly in the western part of the province, north of Minnesota.
