Alex Gaudino shares the story behind his 2006 hit ‘Destination Calabria’. The unmistakeable anthem is a mash-up of Gaudino and Crystal Waters’ ‘Destination Unknown’ and Rune RK’s ‘Calabria’, both released in 2003. Here, Gaudino explains how he first heard the latter track being played out by Pete Tong and immediately needed to sign it. Three years later, he mixed the two together. The rest is history: the track was launched into the charts and was later paired with a famously risqué music video. Steve Vincent from Adventures of Stevie V shares the story behind their ‘90s hip-house anthem, ‘Dirty Cash (Money Talks)’. Originally released in 1989, the track failed to land at first, peaking at 101 in the charts.
