Those pregame, halftime, post game interviews are generic anyway. No need for them.
Man I hate to do it but I can’t disagree more. From what I’ve always heard it is contractually obligated that a coach take two questions. Regardless, as a head coach, you are the face of the brand and it’s in your best interests to be respectful and positively reflect your program when you’re in the spotlight. To be fair, I’ve never liked Sark but I would say this about any coach in this situation. Holly is great at her job and deserved better than that.
I’m a Texas alum. I hate the Halftime interview, regardless of the team. After the game is over, Sark could have spent a minute with her. I guarantee most players were celebrating with each other. When I was in school, we would run onto the field to exit Memorial Stadium. The coach mostly was with team captains, not other players. It doesn’t change my view of Sark at all.
