I’m new to video podcasting. When using the Riverside app to record your video podcast are you able to use XLR mics? I’ll be shooting the video on either my iPhone 15 Pro Max or on a Zoom Q8N 4K camera.

Maybe I missed it but can I create my video in Riverside and export ONLY the audio directly to SPOTIFY, or do I have to download the audio on to my computer and then upload to SPOTIFY? Thank you …
You can send your audio-only exports directly to Spotify! Once the edit has finished exporting, click into it in your Riverside dashboard and then you’ll see the one-click to Spotify button.

Can I download the edited video and audio files from Riverside? If I edit with another program like iMovie or LumaFusion, will I be able to upload directly through my Spotify for creators account or do I need to go through riverside?
Yes you can do that!
I heard that if you add a video to a podcast episode it won’t count towards podcast downloads. Is that true? Trying to weigh if it’s beneficial to add video or not.
That’s true, but for the extended reach I’ve found it worth it
How can I place songs hosted in Spotify in between my speaking segments of my podcast?
