About Next Gen NYC:
“Next Gen NYC” is back for season two, and it’s anything but chill. The pace is faster, the hustle is louder, and for this New York City crew, life in the city that never sleeps is a full-on reality check. From first real apartments and lingering scandals to messy breakups, shifting friendships and new romances, everyone’s trying to build a life that feels authentic – but also aesthetic.  Eager to carve out their own identities, they’re determined to make it on their own terms while also navigating the pressure to curate the right vibe, the right circles, and a feed that keeps up with the life they’re chasing. In a world driven by image, ambition, and constant visibility, they quickly learn that making it is one thing – holding onto it, and each other, is another.

“Next Gen NYC” is produced by Truly Original with Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Michelle Schiefen, Chaz Morgan, Shanae Humphrey and Michael Meinecke as executive producers. Michaline Babich and Shari Levine also serve as executive producers. Nikki Borrelli and Lauren Nathan are co-executive producers.

I’m so embarrassed for Brooks and Ava. Your helping a friend out you don’t need to call an agent or say I’ve too much on right now. Please you’re not even a top model!!!!!

I don’t like the treatment of Georgia. It comes across as a school and herd-like mentality. The most respectable people are not afraid to risk being real and being judged. Why are so many of the cast judging anyone for being different?

I also think sadly a lot of the cast just do not realise how most people struggle in the world outside of reality tv and fame. I’m not saying that it isn’t a struggle to grow up in the worlds they’ve grown up in, but I am saying that they show a concerning lack of empathy for real people problems and towards people that don’t fit what they understand.

Most of the cast come across as though they lack real-world life experience and emotional intelligence. A lot of them act afraid to be authentic and seem to judge that – when it’s what the viewers want.

As much as I love reality tv, this show isn’t doing it for me. Maybe asking for kindness is expecting too much from the network, but I think it’s reasonable to want more wit, humour, authenticity and fun than we’re getting here.

    At least, that’s my OPINIONN
