A drone-based arms race is already in full-swing and parallel to that is the competition to defeat attack and strike drones. Unmanned aerial systems (UAS) themselves cost anywhere from a few hundred dollars/euros while the most advanced uncrewed fighter jets are in the millions and tens of millions. Counter-UAS — or C-UAS, is just as diverse and so this video aims to look at the various methods available on the market to defend against drones.

Unfortunately none of these anti-drone systems are an effective enough counter to saturation drone warfare. It is therefore essential that all NATO members have attack and surveillance drone warfare production and operational capabilities equivalent to Ukraine. At least saturation drone warfare favours the defender.
Nope. Radar directed medium caliber RWS firing PABMs mass slaughter crappy group 1 and 2 “drone” munitions. Only missiles with high sustained lateral acceleration will be effective against AFVs fielding Radar and PABM based protective systems.
We’re at the same point where small drones are at where machine guns were during WW1. An existing invention that has been around for a while prior to the Great War, but strategies and technologies had not been developed sufficiently to effectively counter them.
Rheinmetalls Skynex/Skyranger is very impressive. But they need to figure out a way to make effective tungsten-free ammo. 98% of the world supply comes from china, so in case of conflict the supply will be non existent. So you better figure out how to make effective ammo ahead of time.
