Is Mars really the best place for humanity to build a future, or have we been focusing on the wrong planet all along? Mars sounds exciting, but it’s a cold, toxic, and highly radioactive place. You’d need to live underground just to survive. On the other hand, Titan, Saturn’s largest moon, has a thick atmosphere, natural protection from radiation, and massive lakes of usable fuel.
In this video, we take a clear look at why Mars might be a dead end, while Titan could be the most promising place in the solar system to build a self-sustaining civilization.

all those lakes of rocket fuel are basically useless without oxygen to burn them. And as for Mars, they could easily use mirrors to bring sunlight to underground gardens, and u can grow foods / plants in hydroponics without any poisonous mars soil

Colonizing Titan is one of the many things that are motivating me to become a billionaire just immagine with that much money , status and power , I could convince millions to believe in my cause and with a multi-billion dollar investment a future generation of humans living on there could happen more sooner that people think .

At least part of the goal of colonizing another planet or moon is if a catastrophe hits earth. Since one of those catastrophes is another dinosaur ending meteor hitting earth (which we are due for another now) for a relative few dollars compared to colonizing Mars or Titan, should create an underground system for surviving it with current knowledge/seeds and however many animals we want to be part of it.

Titan is 25 times further away. This video is nonsense.

One way trip to titan would take over 19 years at least. And thats if you had unlimited rocket fuel.

    BS video

We’re not colonizing Titan. That’s for sure.I don’t think we’re colonizing anywhere. The relationship between weight and thrust is a killer. If you just stop and think about all the things we have to bring with us to actually become colonists, you realize we can’t build that ship plus if we’re going to Titan, we need a tremendous amount of fuel which, wait for it, weighs a lot. And if we’re going four years to Titan, and four years back to reload, how are we going to protect everyone on board from radiation in space? I suppose theoretically, we could arrange our fuel tanks to be in the walls of the spacecraft, but as those walls get emptied yikes. Just think about everything you’d have to take- water, food, building materials, medical supplies, clothing, all kinds of equipment for doing things like drilling, Wells, Mining. And it is just so very cold that it’s difficult to theorize what it would be like living there and what equipment we would have to bring. I won’t live anywhere where I could be dead in a half an hour if my generator fails. If you’re really talking about colonizing Titan, it would be an expense, not even the entire world cooperating together could bear. And given that expense, wouldn’t it be better to try to deal with the very expensive to fix climate problem here?If we could do that the need for another, the planet would be sharply diminished.
