The Senate Judiciary Committee will soon vote on whether to advance Acting AG Todd Blanche’s nomination to be the nation’s top law enforcer. All eyes are on two potential GOP holdouts, Senators Thom Tillis and John Cornyn. Today, Senator Cornyn told reporters his meeting with Blanche was canceled and he is “not prepared to vote yes.” New Jersey Senator Cory Booker joined The Weekend last Sunday to discuss Todd Blanche’s bid for Attorney General and whether or not Senators Tillis and Cornyn will confirm him.

    These corporate Democrats are comfortable tinkering around the edges. But when it comes to making substantial changes that benefit the working class, they are no where to be seen. They will beto anything that might hurt their donor class. I dont trust them.
