Some reevaluation needed for the track, how grading of the gravel traps, barriers. That was really scarry to watch, it just worked out ok in this instance.

How concerned should we be that a car can go off at a fairly conventional angle and still go through a barrier and fence and hit foliage? More tyre stacks at that corner? Had the car caught fire, or any damage been done to the cockpit area, and the outcome could have been tragic. It’s disappointing how little attention was given to these questions by the TV coverage. They seemed more interested in sycophantically prattling on about the site’s wonderful museum rather than determining whether enough is being done for driver safety?
