Russian military steps up convoy protection – Videos captures destroyed vehicles along supply roads

Russian forces are reportedly increasing the deployment of mobile fire groups along key logistics routes in occupied Ukrainian territories in an effort to protect military transport from Ukrainian strikes. Several videos circulating on social media show Russian military vehicles moving in convoys along these roads. In one of the recordings, a Russian serviceman says the military columns are now being placed under strict escort as they travel through the occupied areas. At one point in the video, he indicates that the convoy is traveling along a road leading to the occupied city of Mariupol. The footage also captures the apparent aftermath of previous Ukrainian attacks, showing damaged and destroyed Russian military vehicles still lining sections of the roadside as the convoy passes by. The visible wreckage highlights the continuing vulnerability of Russian logistics routes to Ukrainian strikes. According to the reported information, the increased deployment of escort vehicles and mobile fire groups is intended to provide additional protection for military convoys transporting personnel and equipment through occupied territories, where Ukrainian forces have repeatedly targeted Russian military traffic. The report also claims that, as military convoys are now moving under tighter protection, the long queues and congestion previously seen at local gas stations in occupied areas have decreased significantly.
