I’m surprised that it lasted that long. It sounded like a gimmick for someone who has lost direction.
Apart from bringing him cups of tea in the morning, I do not know what technically Murray had to offer Djokovic!!!
He has lost his fear factor.
Ever since they showed up neither Sinner or Alcaraz respected the hierarchy.
They are not the Medvedev, Rublev, Zverev generation who were just pleased to be there.
Sinner and Alcaraz are better tennis players. Stronger mentally. If they were a few years older, they would have shortened Djokovic’s career even more because they are also braver than the Medvedev, Tsitsipas generation.
Plus you also have even younger guys like Mensik and Fils who mean business. Tennis has moved on for the better.
