Roadways disappear under floodwater as heavy rain hits northeast

Florida is a special case. The state is basically a peninsula jutting out into the sea. I’ve been driving there during the rainy season. There were actual waves on the highway & when a car would pass going in the opposite direction a wave would go over the top of my car often crashing right on it. Meanwhile there’s constant building & they’re burning the Everglades. Move North.
