Scatman Cruthers has been one of my favorite actors since I was very young. Hearing him voice Hong Kong Phooey and later voicing Jazz in The Transformers and seeing him in Silver Streak (along with Richard Pryor) and his appearance in Pryor’s Place really let me appreciate him in a variety of his roles.
So happy to find the show that taught kids to rob stores and have good neighbors help them evade police.
Thats why Jazz died in Transformers The Movie. Childhood all messed up now.
The opening shows kids rob a little store. Then “good neighbors” help the kids avoid police. This episode is about helping neighbors. How does it help the store owner to rob the store or help the robbers evade capture?
This is disgusting.
