Reuters investigative reporters Steve Stecklow and Gavin Finch sat down with Iranian opposition figure Reza Pahlavi in Paris on July 14 to discuss his campaign for bringing democracy to Iran. He lays out his vision for how the transition can happen and why the Islamic Republic is now weak. Pahlavi addresses criticism from some financial backers and his response to violence by some of his supporters. He also discusses controversy over his role in the campaign against Iran’s repressive Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and how his views have changed on intervention in Iran.
