Rece Davis’ Official Visit: In the office with Curt Cignetti

What in staring to surmise is that Coach Cignetti looks for guys that are tuff and have some physical ability and love football. I think another thing he does is getting these guys to practice at game speed and not having them on the field in practice hours upon hours. He also coaches the coaches and lets them coach the players. I think that one is huge. Those coaches will stop a kid when he isn’t doing the rep the right way and they take the time to explain what they want and have them do it again until they get it right. There are other factors that goes into Coach Cignetti’s brilliance but a lot of it is this in a nutshell. Another big one is having WR that are willing to block when it’s their time to block. You have to block if you want the rock. And finally the film study Coach does is next level.

Starting tape with Iowa and listening to Cignetti give them credit makes me feel all warm inside 😂. Wish we could’ve got em, but they were just the better team. The best team to be exact
