Nadal still won 5 titles from 2015-23 & there was also Wawrinka & Thiem. They were pretty good on that surface too. Thiem would been won that titles in other era.
@rajusaha855 During the 2nd half of his career, 2014 WB — 2024 Rafa won 8 Majors. But he was constantly injured. Which perfectly coincides with the time that Novak ran up the numbers. Now, with Carlos out for the year, Novak has a 2nd chance!
Every time Djokovic beats Nadal & Federer they are either injured or “past their prime” – this is the biggest cope. Djokovic beat prime Sinner this year and prime Alcaraz last year, and there is 16y difference between them. There is only 5y difference between Federer & Djokovic, why is that an excuse? Was Djokovic ever injured in that same period, did he had surgeries on his elbow? So what? That’s part of sport. Stop making stupid excuses

There are no clay court and Grass court specialists of some substance in Sincraz’s era and that is the harsh truth.
Between 2005-2023, you had clay court specialists like Ferrer, Felciona Lopez, Almagro, Robredo, Gary Lopez, Schwartzmann, Del Potro, Thiem, Tstisipas, Ruud, Zverev etc. Even Andy and Wawarinka were great on clay courts. Ruud was on some form too.
But today you have out of form Ruud, Zverev as competition.😂
