Psychiatrist Dr. Sejal Shah took the stand Monday in the trial of Lindsay Clancy. Shah testified about treating Clancy during her hospitalization following the January 2023 deaths of her three children in their Massachusetts home. She discussed the medical team’s efforts to monitor Clancy’s condition, evaluate her mental state and determine appropriate treatment. Shah also testified about a DNR, or do-not-resuscitate order, and the events surrounding that decision during Clancy’s hospital stay.

In this country there should be more support for woman’s postpartum wellbeing. I had very scary intrusive thoughts of hurting my newborn baby. I never said anything at my doctors appointment because of the fear of them taking my baby away and locking me up like a crazy mental lady. I prayed to my god Jehovah and boy did he help me get thru it. But it was extremely difficult definitely. Why do we have those terrible thoughts? 😢 why I love my son and I never wanted to hurt my baby
II think Lindsay needs to be held accountable for being a triple murderer. If a stranger had killed her children , they’d get the death penalty instead of bleeding heart sympathy!

Benzos are super dangerous! And he didn’t question the Doctor about them (the patient was prescribed 2!) as hard as he questioned SSRIs?!
