It’s a combination of age and stress of the job. That type of stress/pressure regardless of how relaxed they may appear, can definitely speed up or increase potential physical and/or cognitive decline. They need to have an age limit e.g. 65 max when running for President. At least if they get 2 terms they’ll still be under 75 when the second one ends. We obviously saw it with Biden and more recently with Trump.
