Pregnant Teen Locked In The Attic By Her Own Mother | Locked Away | Full Suspense Thriller Movie – When high school senior Taylin and her boyfriend Kevin tell Taylin’s mother Sasha they’re pregnant, Sasha wants Taylin to give the baby up for adoption. Confused and frustrated, Taylin decides to seek the advice of pregnancy counselor Chloe. What Taylin doesn’t know is that Chloe has wanted a baby for quite some time and unable to have one of her own, is willing to do the unthinkable to take the one Taylin is carrying. (Locked Away (2010) is a tense suspense thriller directed by Doug Campbell that turns a mother’s love into a nightmare of control. High school senior Taylin discovers she’s pregnant by her boyfriend Kevin, and when she shares the news with her mother Chloe, Chloe seems supportive at first. But driven by a psychotic desire to raise the baby herself, Chloe drugs Taylin and locks her inside a reinforced attic room, cutting off all contact with Kevin. As Kevin grows suspicious of Chloe’s claim that Taylin ran away, he launches his own search alongside local police. Trapped and running out of time as her due date nears, Taylin must use her wits to break free and outsmart her captor in a dramatic final confrontation.

The girl was 3 months pregnant. At 3 months pregnancies don’t show. (Maaaaaaybe naked, there might be something in some cases but definitely not while wearing lose clothing.) The only thing that is a failure here is your brain….

Really good movie and worth the watch. You won’t be disappointed. Jean Louisa Kelly, who played Chloe, was quite convincing and was awesome in her role as Chloe. Kirsten Prout, did a great job as well playing Taylin. Hope you found this comment helpful because most of the ones I read had absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand…i.e., the movie. 😁

Movies show extreme cases but toxic home environments usually start with lost parental control 🙃 I was trapped in endless gentle negotiations with my 6yo, trying to validate every meltdown until i was totally burnt out. I found all the answers and right guidance in the book called Why Good Parenting Fails by Nora Bryant, it restored quiet confidence without harsh punishments! Bedtime takes 15 mins now, I love it) this should be taught in schools

That may be true today, but until a few decades ago loss of parental control wasn’t an issue, yet many homes still contained extremely toxic environments. Glad you was able to figure things out and get on the track you are comfortable with and that works for you.
Parenting breaks down completely when you rely on broken modern scripts that backfire 😮💨 I spent three years using scripts, only for my kids to become anxious and super argumentative daily. The only thing that saved us was reading Why Good Parenting Fails (nora bryant), it fixed the exact hidden dynamic causing our household friction! Worth it, feels like secret info nobody talks about
