Can we admire how much illustration Estelle Getty puts into her stories. You can close your eyes and literally live the story…God Rest Her Soul
Benito ☝🏼👨🏼💻…and I’ll do the 🪛 😏
Reminds me of my Nonna. She was also Sicilian.
I never cared for Sophia’s Siciliy stories.
The story about how she dated Charles De Gaulle but changed it to Charles The Mole was hilarious! 😂
There’s at least one story missing. Sophia and Dorothy by themselves. I don’t remember the whole story. But I remember it ending with Sophia mentioning she was formerly friends with Golda Meir.
Some of these performances deserved way more awards than they got.
Here’s my stories from my Great grandmother
1st : Picture this 1932 , Paris france, A 31 year old man married and he met a 26 girl who is a whore, They made love for a week and told what her name and when the girl told her name he left her life and that girl was my Great grandmother and that man is King george VI
2nd : When Phillipines was taken the people say who is greater Hitohitu or Castro
and they said Hito and who eats better they say Hitohitu
3rd : In paris when you have a spanish flu you go to the window mareilli when the town bastard La qaus came in she add it on his Croissant instead on his eye and tasted awesome but when put it on sale people don’t like eye flu on croissant but when he changes the name the sauce to White chocolate it changed.
I so wished all of Sophia’s crazy stories were true, especially the one with Picasso.
Almost every Sicily story Sophia mentions has a year in the 20th century.
16:56. Sophia also had stories in Brooklyn.
AT LEAST SOPHIA DIDN’T SAY SHE WENT TO BED WITH GARIBALDI
One thing I hate about this show is that Dorothy and Blanche get easily annoyed when Rose says, “Back in St. Olaf……….” but they NEVER GET ANNOYED when Sophia says, “Picture it Sicily………” I mean WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
