Good morning. I start watching the series again and I also reach the end of Charles Brook’s book. And I keep my vision of the character and his excessive way of reacting too often. First, he reminded me of a character from Law and Order, SVU, and I wished that he would one day meet his Olivia Benson that she would help him see clearly in him. Then I was able to read the book “the miseducation of Henry Cane” and through a rehash of the events of the summer of his twenty-one years, we can see the two traumas from which he has not healed. First, the loss of the fishing family to which he was very attached, the first lie, and then, the last discussion he had with his “mistress” of a state and the double betrayal of which he been a victim at the hands of this Elizabetha Hence undoubtedly his relentlessness at work, which his wife will later reproach him for. As a result, I am missing, or we are missing, at least a double episode which shows us Charles struggling with the difficult writing of the end of the book, and his return to New York for the editing and publication of the book that he dedicated to Liza.

I was annoyed that they spent all last season pining for each other. Then in a couple days, DONE. No trying to work it out, even though it was “real” love. I didn’t buy it. And no goodbye from Diana? I loved her

I would still like to see one more series, Charles and Liza were so good together and a happy ending with them together❤

When Charles told Liza “You Betrayed Me!”, he sounded so hurt. I didn’t think he’d ever look at her the same way again and would never marry her…Especially after she didn’t tell him about sending his manuscript to Yaddo…

I LOVE this show! So glad I watched it & so wish they would continue the story in some way. The acting & writing is exceptional.

My favorite Liza ‘fit’ was her grayish silver pant suit she wore when she dropped the Chrissy Hart book on Charles’ desk when she answered him saying “I didn’t Leave”

Stupid series. could they just LIVE together w out the cert for a year of two and then revisit formal commitment ? Many Americans do that I know . She never offered to Live with . IF she wouldn’t want to…than that’s a horse of a different color . Then I’d say to her adios . Flaky fuck buddies. NO

Why they ended the chemistry btw Liza and Charles in the end ???!!! Just finished the show it broke my heart ! But Liza appears so unstable ! I don’t blame Charles ! But always team Charles and Liza !
