I wonder why people buy old houses when they want an open floor plan and white trim!
I get it- why buy an old house with all of its character and then modernize it with all white and gray the open floor concept? Let it be what it should be! Restored with its own character! I wonder where they went with all of the beautiful woodwork, doors, windows and stained glass? ugh.
@KrisPaape I’m with you!
When she said “we’re removing the bay window” I thought you should have bought a different house. And then taking out the radiators and “we’re going to have to find a different way to heat the house” – well now you’re committing to a pretty big uptick in the remodeling budget.
Stunning! I love this mother daughter team so much. Bring on more Stoffer design videos! 🍿
Doesn’t the craggy limestone floor for the kitchen collect dirt in the crags?! 😧
Incredible beautiful design
This house just made me smile. ❤
The fireplace needs some color. Leave the mantle white but a medium gray or brownish red on the brick will make it a focal point and bring something more to the entire room. Beautiful work!
Jean Stoffer is a genius. Her enthusiasm is contagious. ❤
The kitchen floors are beautiful. Can you please share what the stone is, love 5hem. Thank you
