Trump also used expletives in a call with CNN political and global affairs analyst and Axios reporter Barak Ravid, slamming Netanyahu’s actions. Trump told The New York Times that Israel stands to benefit from the agreement and called Netanyahu “a very difficult guy.”
Trump had grown increasingly frustrated with Netanyahu in recent weeks, as the Israeli leader continued attacking Lebanon — strikes that repeatedly put the US-Iran peace talks in jeopardy.

In a post on Truth Social on Sunday, Trump said the Israeli attack on Beirut “should not have happened, particularly on a special day when we are so close to a Peace Deal with Iran”.
