A day after Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were directed to halt most traffic stops in the wake of two fatal shootings by federal officers, President Donald Trump urged them to resume.
In the wake of the shootings, the Department of Homeland Security also pledged to “rapidly” deploy body cameras to officers nationally.

The pause was initially enacted after federal agents fatally shot Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston and Joan Sebastian Durán Guerrero in Biddeford, Maine.

Maine’s Total Coverage spoke with a neighbor, Em Akerley, who said she was drinking coffee when she heard a gunshot. She said she kept hearing shots, thinking it was a drive-by shooting.

How about arresting the officers who left the elderly man in the freezing cold??? He was dragged out of home with no winter clothing. He was blind and disabled and was “not the person they thought” and so they dropped him off in the cold with no phone or clothing to even be safe. He froze to death.

Those lunatics ICE agents are not fit for the job. They are a bunch of retired police officers and military personnel who have drinking problems and emotional instability. The problem here is that the government leaders are giving jobs to individuals who are not qualified for the jobs
With all the funding ICE are getting, there is zero justification for them NOT having body cameras.
I served 30 years in the UK police and we have been equipped with Axion body worn video systems for years, I retired 6 years ago, i wore a bodycam for almost a decade before that.
And the UK police are strapped for cash following cuts by central government back in the 2010’s. But they still issued us cameras.
Those cameras are a god send for honest coppers, stop malicious complaints in their tracks, but are also a brilliant tool to stop corrupt and/or unlawfully violent coppers from either committing their wrong doing or, helping prove their guilt if they do!
The only reason I can imagine for ICE not to have BWV is to stop public scrutiny of their actions. And that dear America is the start of a downward spiral!
Trump wants to create public protest so that he can disrupt the mid-terms and send his Gestapo in to intimidate people. Stay calm, respect ALL the martyrs who pay with their lives, and finish off Trump at the voting booths. The World is looking to you Americans to clean this mess up….your FINAL chance.
