Kiara McCulley’s mother took the stand and detailed the delivery of the sword allegedly used in Grace Jennings’ brutal murder. Defendant Isaac Apodaca has pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and conspiracy in the death of 21-year-old Jennings, who was found dead after an apparent sword attack. McCulley entered a guilty plea as part of an agreement with prosecutors that will see her serve 30 years in exchange for her truthful testimony against Apodaca, who faces a potential life sentence.
