Jurors watched Kianna Davis’s police interview on Tuesday, recorded the day after her 2-year-old son, Karter, died in November 2020. During the interview, Davis became emotional as she told investigators that Karter had been sick the weekend before his death and that she had left for work the morning he died. She said she later received a call from her boyfriend, Kiyon Benton, who told her he was taking Karter to the doctor. Davis and Benton are both charged with Karter’s murder.

Not only did she beat him, but thought she could give him Benadryl to shut him up due to the intense pain he was going through…. Horrible mother….. Most of the women who wound up committing these atrocities are normally when the man they bring in their life show little to no interest in their kids so to the woman the kid is getting in the way of her relationship with the man, so they began getting frustrated with everything the kid or kids are doing…… and they’re just being kids.😔
The comments scare me. I’m a mommy bear of 3. Am I 100% convinced she’s innocent? Not really. But is she guilty beyond a reasonable doubt? Absolutely not! I’ve been rewatching different parts of the case and I’m just not convinced that this woman harmed her child. I also feel that her demeanor on the stand has been a driving force for people to dislike her. But I must say I believe her attitude on the stand is very much so a mixture of culture and possibly her just being absolutely pissed at the accusations. I can’t count how many times I’ve called my own kid a “cry baby.” It’s real. No harm meant. The jury did not agree in ANY charge. Weak case. Sending love to all involved.
