A judge declared a mistrial in David Prevatte’s murder trial Thursday after jury misconduct raised concerns about whether he could receive a fair trial. Several jurors reportedly heard discussions about Prevatte’s alleged criminal history and prior interactions with law enforcement that were not presented as evidence. The judge determined the jury had been exposed to information outside the courtroom and there were not enough alternate jurors to replace those potentially affected. The judge said neither the prosecution nor the defense was responsible for the misconduct, and the case may be retried.

The judge is like most all of them now, scared of the public…..these judges are throwing up their hands and drawing a paycheck. Who can blame them with what Washington is getting away with.. 8:30
